Cranberry Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cup (390 gram) high gluten flour
  • 1 cup (130 gram) whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup (112 cc) water
  • 2 + 1/2 tsp dry yeast
  • 3 tsp. (10 gram) sugar
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup (225 cc) water
  • 2 tbsp. (10 gram) butter
  • 3/5 cup (100 gram) dry cranberries
  • 3/5 cup (100 gram) hazel nuts or walnuts (roasted and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup (100 gram) instant oatmeal
  1. Soak whole wheat flour in water.

  2. Put soaked whole wheat flour, high gluten flour, yeast, sugar, water and salt in the bread machine and set it for "dough".

  3. At the last 5 minutes of kneading, add butter, cranberries and nuts into the dough.

    3/5 cup (100 gram) hazelnuts or walnuts (roasted and chopped)

  4. Let the dough rise in the machine. (at least 40 minutes) Take it out and divide into 6 pieces.
  5. Let them rest for 20 minutes.
  6. Roll out the air with a rolling pin.

  7. Roll the dough to shape.
  8. Spray water lightly over the rolls.Sprinkle crushed oatmeals.


  9. Let it rise 35 minutes or until it doubles at around 80 °F.


  10. Bake at 400 ° for 20 - 25 minutes.
