Stir-fried Green Beans

This recipe is the easiest of all my recipes
and one of the best.

Ingredients 4 servings

  • 10 oz. fresh green beans ( ends removed)
  • 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp. black bean and garlic sauce
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  1. Bring water to a boil and add 3/4 lb. fresh green beans ( ends removed). Boil until tender but crisp. Don't overcook. Remove from boiling water and run cold water to stop cooking. Drain.
  2. Heat oil. When the oil starts slightly smoking, add and saute at high heat:
    boiled green beans
    chopped garlic
  3. When the beans are slightly brown, turn down the heat and add 1 + 1/2 tsp. black bean and garlic sauce and 1 + 1/2 tsp. hoisin sauce. Mix well.
