Bring water to a boil and add 3/4 lb. fresh green beans ( ends
removed). Boil until tender but crisp. Don't overcook. Remove from boiling
water and run cold water to stop cooking. Drain.
Heat oil. When the oil starts slightly smoking, add and saute at high
heat:
boiled green beans
chopped garlic
When the beans are slightly brown, turn down the heat and add 1 +
1/2 tsp. black bean and garlic sauce and 1 + 1/2 tsp.
hoisin sauce. Mix well.
